Abstract
The MOCAP//DROP-IN //AFTERNOON introduces the ‘Blending Engine’ – a new software tool which allows choreographers, dancers and animators to remix movement sequences. Developed as part of the Wholodance project – a 3-year European project that aims to design and apply breakthrough technologies to dance to create a new immersive dance teaching tool. The ‘Blending Engine’ is in its early stages, and this afternoon will be an opportunity to test it and give feedback. At the MOCAP//DROP-IN //AFTERNOON, we will share the project and explain some of its thinking and hands-on experimentation and live video link to its author Oshri Even-Zohar of Motek in the Netherlands for questions.
