Abstract
VEHICLE AIR BRAKE SYSTEM". A vehicle air brake system having a pressurized fluid source (1), an air dryer (A) downstream of said source (1), and an air consuming circuit (2) downstream of the air dryer (A), the system having a control means for suspending the force (1) on demand to allow the return flow of pressurized air from the air consuming circuit (2) through the air dryer (A) for a flow valve (B), the control means comprising a regeneration valve (D), and a control valve (C) having an inlet connected to the air consuming circuit (2), and an operationally connected supply outlet flow valve (B), wherein the regeneration valve (D) is operable to allow regeneration return flow in response to the connection of the inlet and outlet valves of the control valve (C).
