Published in 1516, with some revisions made in 1518, Utopia by Sir Thomas More is widely acknowledged as being a work of incredible interest. More's description, through his storyteller, Raphael Hythloday, of the kingdom of Utopia and its alternative society and system of government has provided inspiration for scholars in a variety of fields over the last five hundred years.
