Abstract

Invited speaker for Rapid Presentation Series. This presentation will explore the early findings around understanding staff perceptions of safety in care homes. Data from interviews with care home staff will be presented to show how staff perceive risk, responsibility and vulnerability of residents during care interactions and the tensions between promoting person centred care and patient safety.
