Abstract

This cinematic VR film brings together the research in a format that demonstrates immersive experiential film. The film was created in Glenrio ,Texas, and positions the viewer in the heart of the experience with the freedom to develop their own narrative enhancing the sense of presence in the environment. The work is a collaboration with musician Tom Williams, who developed the audio experience. This experience has been shown in the Tacoma Film Festival and Orcas Islands Film Festival in the United States (September 2017) and shortlisted for Aesthetica Film Festival (BAFTA qualifying) in November 2017.
