Abstract

The Harlot’s Charter establishes a code of practice for immersive experiential film. It provides a set of statements – some obvious, some more provocative – and culminates with the Vow of Promiscuity that will incite debates around film, media and culture. It offers a framework for immersive experiential film to emerge, offering an understanding of how people experience environments, cultures and society in relation to immersive filmic experiences.
