Abstract

10 artists. 10 iPads. 10 projectors. The Drawing Orchestra is a 10 piece ensemble that draw live in response to especially commissioned music. They create responsive and collaborative artworks diffused across large scale projection. The Drawing Orchestra takes on the familiar structure and tropes of an orchestral ensemble, mirroring the groupings of instrumentation and featuring a soloists and conductor.
