Abstract
The renewable energy sector is rapidly evolving, presenting both significant challenges and opportunities in supply chain management. This paper reports a systematic literature review of 49 scholarly articles, offering a comprehensive analysis of the various facets of renewable energy supply chains. Through thematic analysis, key principles and practices specific to supply chain management in the renewable energy sector have been identified. The findings highlight critical factors-such as technological advancements, policy frameworks, and stakeholder engagement-that influence the scalability, efficiency, and sustainability of renewable energy supply chains. Notably, technology management emerges as a pivotal enabler, driving innovation and optimization throughout the supply chain. This study not only elucidates the current state of renewable energy supply chain management but also outlines future research directions, emphasizing the importance of integrated technological solutions in achieving sustainable and resilient renewable energy systems.
