Abstract

This case study examines the rise of Chora Media, an Italian podcast company founded in 2020. Leveraging the growing demand for digital audio content, the company used effectuation principles to navigate uncertainty, secure investments, and acquire Will Media, creating a cross-platform media hub. Despite financial losses, Chora Media remains a leader in branded content and storytelling, with a business model relying on advertising and exclusive partnerships. The case explores media transformation, stakeholder engagement, and entrepreneurship in a rapidly evolving industry, demonstrating how innovative business strategies can shape digital media landscapes.
