Abstract
The Health Sector in Dubai is growing at a rapid pace and there is a need to ensure Health Facility Design supports current and future Clinical Capacity Planning needs. This article briefly discusses Dubai Health Authority (DHA) experience in developing ‘World Class’Health Facility Guidelines (HFG) and highlights the linkages between clinical capacity planning needs, improving regulatory compliance and
patient outcomes. The article concludes with several key lessons and DHA future plans.
