Shadow Dance

Research output: Practice-Based and Non-textual ResearchPerformance

Abstract

Shadow Dance is a dance performance in 2016 at the Duncan Library of Aberdeen (Scotland). The performance draws on a PhD in Anthropology and Dance Studies about production processes in Contemporary Dance. It especially addresses the emergence of gestures. For this video, we only worked with the raw footage of the rehearsals to express the question of process and construction.
