Abstract
Reciprocity Forest, a mixed-reality app, is the outcome of a research project which gained funding from EIRA (£40,000) and Forestry England (£10,000). The project set out to explore;
1. How and to what extent can digital apps extend the time we spend outdoors?
2. How does AR change the way we perceive our surroundings?
3. Can an AR app be developed that can enhance wellbeing?
4. In what ways could an AR app be created with user generated content that encourages repeated use.
