Abstract
The potential uses of sonochemistry for the processing and chemical industries of the future have been established already on a laboratory scale. Recently there have been some attempts to scale-up the technology and these have been reasonably successful although not fully optimised. In this presentation a range of recent applications and equipment will be reviewed.
