    Abstract

    This special edition publishes papers selected from the Critical Human Resource Development (HRD) stream of the 8th Critical Mangement Studies (CMS) Conference held at Manchester Business School in July 2013. The stream was the fourth co-organised by various combinations of the authors of this guest editorial.
