Abstract
Notes for a Performance—Re visioning a Smoky Meeting 2017 - 2019.
Notes for a Performance - Re visioning a Smoky Meeting, is the culmination of a four-month artist residency at the Tetley in Leeds. Working with the Tetley’s industrial, heritage archive the performance, exhibition and publication extended understanding of heritage sites and archives as a means to present an affective understanding of the past. Smoky and Audio Description (AD) methodologies were used to create a performance that interrogated collective memory and cinematic language.
