Abstract

This chapter is a conversation between dance artists Henrietta Hale and Ivan Blackstock. Together they reflect on their personal training by particularly focusing on the importance of balancing internal processes and movement repetition. Henrietta and Ivan discuss the role of culture in Western contemporary dance and working with young people.
