    Abstract

Vehicle electrification has become one of the main requirements for automotive companies due to the stricter global legislation on exhaust tail-pipe emissions and uncertainty in fossil fuel supply. However, one of the issues with the vehicle electrification technology is the range anxiety that can influence the demand for vehicles. There are several solutions to overcome this issue such as higher energy storage density and powertrain hybridization.
