Abstract

An article for the October 2018 edition of the University of Salford's Open Research Network newsletter, describing how figshare was used as the repository for a large set of audio files that were needed for an international machine learning challenge on classification of sounds (part of the EPSRC-funded Making Sense of Sounds project).
