Abstract

Cult 70s drama Gangsters is a treasure-trove of forgotten Birmingham locations. Artist Darryl Georgiou first encountered the show through his dad’s chip shop – a meeting-place for many of the cast and crew – and today he will be following in the footsteps of the ‘White Devil’ and stopping off at the Nirvana restaurant in search of the show’s antihero, 'Kline'.
