Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to investigate Lithuanian counterparts of the most frequently occurring possibility/probability particles in Czech on the evidence of a Czech/Lithuanian parallel translation corpus, in order to derive data for the enhancement of bilingual lexicographical description and translation analysis in respect of this semantically elusive grammatical category.
