Abstract

This book explores the ways in which research processes and the procedures of conducting investigations affect the produced knowledge as well as reflect on their onto-epistemological, political, ethical, esthetical, and sociological contexts. We also focus on complex implications of research for researchers
themselves, that is, on how the study of in/equality affects their ways of thinking, working and living. We pay attention to the processes and procedures of generating knowledge about fragile questions and problems related to diverse and intersecting relations of inequality and, consequently, to investigate what kind of inventive and innovative methodologies such research demands. Finally, we explore possible challenges that research on in/equality presents.
