Abstract

In 2014, as a component of the Dutch WASH Alliance project in Kenya and Ethiopia, field visits by Andrew Adam-Bradford (RUAF Associate) were undertaken in Kajiado, Namanga and Nakuru in Kenya, and Dire Dawa and Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. The purpose of these visits were twofold, firstly to assess the current urban agriculture (UA) and WASH linkages, and secondly to identify potential intervention points to maximise the positive benefits from linking urban agriculture with WASH.
