This report analyses developments under international law processes concerning Indigenous peoples and the environment that occurred in 2020. It will address the following themes: Indigenous peoples’ human rights and the biosphere; the COVID-19 pandemic, the protection of biodiversity and Indigenous peoples’ rights; and the new Environmental and Social Policy Framework of the Inter-American Development Bank.
