Getting in our own way: Understanding the role of the self when navigating common challenges in cognitive behavioural therapy and supervision

Who is the skills class aimed at?
This experiential skills class is aimed at CBT therapists and supervisors who want to enhance their practice by addressing common challenges in CBT practice and supervision by understanding the role that personal and professional aspects of ‘the self’ play in these processes. The skills class will use a mixture of role plays and audience discussions, enabling participants to step into a supportive and reflective space where they can share ideas and plan meaningful ways to adapt their practice in line with recent developments in the CBT evidence base.
