Abstract
The GameChangers initiative (https://gchangers.org) is an award-winning and community-engaged research programme focused on designing and implementing playful and game-based learning experiences to foster a more exploratory and creative academic culture. It explores the potential of games and game-like solutions as mediums for expression, learning, and practice across all levels of education, including lifelong learning, aiming to democratise game creation and literacy globally, especially for marginalised communities. The initiative extends its impact through sister initiatives such as CreativeCulture (https://CreativeCulture.my) and ACES (https://aces.gchangers.org).
