Abstract

A method is described to construct a simple tuneable fibre optic notch filter by using a linearly-chirped fibre grating filter which offers high resolution filtering for real time signal processing in radio frequency systems. The demonstrated device will allow linear and continuous tuning of the notch frequencies.
