    Abstract

    Digital technology has given rise to citizen engagement and allowed organizations to work closely with people and participate in new and exciting ways. The interrelationships between tools, citizens and cultural heritage institutions is one of great importance, with a potential that can carve out a unique space for citizen science and crowd sourcing information to be shared in an organized way.
