Abstract

The fil rouge of the session is to look at fairness and inclusiveness from different perspectives, from inclusion of people living with disabilities to include other aspects such as gender, age, digitalisation and conclude with suggestions on how to redefine the concept of intersectional analysis to achieve more inclusive and fair transport systems.
Overview of session:
• Introductions (5 minutes)
• What is fair transport today? If not, for whom? (15 minutes)
This introduction can bring in the different perspectives of what is fairness is in transport and maybe touch on the concept of transport justice?
Speakers can also share the groups / communities that may be more or less affected by fairness or unfairness in our current transport systems based on the findings of their work.
• How have the projects identified “unfairness” for these groups? (15 minutes)
Tour de table: main discriminations addressed by the projects.
• How to make transport effectively inclusive? (30 minutes)
• Questions from the floor
• Final points and conclusions - with suggestions on how to redefine the concept of intersectional analysis to achieve more inclusive and fair transport systems (Tour de table)
