Bibliographical note

The 2010 DRS Montreal Conference conference guide and book of abstracts is available to download at http://www.drs2010.umontreal.ca/data/BOA.pdf. The author Seymour Roworth-Stokes is a co-editor of the published conference proceedings. These can be viewed online at http://www.drs2010.umontreal.ca/proceedings.php. Author's note: The DRS2010 international biennial conference proceedings represents the foremost contributions from leading scholars in the field of design research. A strict peer review process based on full papers (3,000 to 5,000 words) is adopted by the organising committee when considering original works by authors for papers based upon contemporary approaches to design research, education or practice.
Professor Roworth-Stokes is Chair of the Design research Society and is an established member of the peer review process for these major international forums. The editorial role involves evaluation of completed research (specifically the objectives, issues, hypotheses, conceptual framework and methodology), and its relevance or the innovative nature of the object of study or theoretical reflection submitted. Over 500 papers were reviewed with approximately 150 accepted.
