Abstract
Enterprise Education is an emerging and evolving field that has been characterized by an emphasis on innovative teaching methods and practical, action-based experiential learning. At the same time, definitions of entrepreneurship are in flux, with new insights and new perspectives on who entrepreneurs are and how they act. Enterprise Education and educators, while often located in Business and Management faculties, is of interest to, and can be found in, a wide range of disciplines. Indeed, the field is characterized by cross faculty perspectives often with a mission to embed Enterprise Education within the wider curriculum. For this reason, the discipline and pedagogy has benefitted from an open and multidisciplinary perspective that has allowed it to be adaptable and responsive to techniques and practice across a wide spectrum of theory and practice, in particular Design Education.
