Abstract
This Editorial marks the first year of our tenure as Co-Editors of Cultural Trends, so it seems a good time to be taking stock of 2020, which has been quite the year, not just for the journal and its editors but for the world at large. Since taking the helm of the journal, we have stewarded a number of significant changes: we have introduced an online submission process, so that all steps, from article submission to peer review, revisions and resubmissions, up to articles being sent into production are now coordinated and administered online.
