Abstract

Criteria Led Discharge (CLD) is an intervention aimed at expediting patient discharge from hospital.1-3 It is part of the SAFER model advocated by NHS England.4 In 2022, NHS England set out to implement CLD at pace and scale. Previous attempts to implement CLD have not demonstrated any longevity despite evidence NHS.5
Objectives:

Aim: To develop a data collection tool to aid the development of Criteria Led Discharge.
