Abstract

This is a collaboration with Dance Umbrella UK (Vida Midgelow and Jane Bacon). It was supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, Dance4 and Middlesex University. The work was presented at NottDance2019, (12/10/2019) Nottingham as a quiet, reflective and immersive, open practice. Where audiences are invited to enter an intimate performance, and where gesture, voice and sound generate an evocative and meditative experience. The sound-score electroacoustically explores and deconstructs spoken text from the practitioners. It is in three parts and is 45 minutes long in total.
