Blog your Mod(ule)! How to start and maintain weblogs that showcase the modules we teach

    Research output: Contribution to conferencePaper

    Abstract

Starting your module in September is a great opportunity to generate ideas and content for a weblog. As a default option, I now create and maintain public weblogs for all content modules that I teach. In this presentation, I will be giving practical advice on how to start a blog using WordPress, generate content quickly and keep the blog going. Weblogs provide an intermediate level of publishing between fully published articles and class materials. As such they provide a space for academics to communicate ideas and opinions that would otherwise linger and be lost in the classroom or be edited out of journals.
