Abstract
This chapter examines the rise of conspiracy theories during the coronavirus pandemic and the use of normative discourse to maintain order. The chapter explores the allegations of the conspiracy fringe of the NHS being like Nazi Germany (Shemirani et al), and the more general application of terms such as genocide and eugenics.
