Abstract

This is an Epiphone Les Paul guitar, bought by me in Pensacola, and used throughout my residency at The 309 Punk Project to write and record songs with local musicians. At the end of the residency I painted the guitar with a portrait of Welsh wrestler, The Exotic Adrian Street - a long-term resident of Pensacola, and one the subjects of my research whilst in residence. This guitar now sits permanently in the archive collection of The 309 Punk Project, as a sculptural artwork/artefact and outcome of my residency and research.
