    Painting ‘Corner’ (acrylic and oil on gesso, on canvas) selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition from a send-in of 12,000, by a hanging committee headed by Hughie O’Donaghue.
    The painting continues research into the possibilities of representational painting today, with reference to place, time and memory. The work was in dialogue with a wide range of other approaches to painting.
    Visitor numbers to the exhibition approx 167,000.
