Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Kütüphanelerle İlgili Yönelimleri Ve Korumaya İlişkin Tutumlari: Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi İslami İlimler Fakültesi Örneği

Aim: The aim of this study is to measure the attitudes of university students towards using and protecting libraries and aims to make suggestions about these attitudes. Method: SPSS program was used in the study and 188 students were surveyed. Data were evaluated using descriptive statistics in computer environment. Results: In the study, it was concluded that 51.6% of the students did not use the library in terms of the frequency of using the library. When students' views on library awareness were considered, it was concluded that social awareness was not high (71.6%) and the awareness in the department was not 87.9%. Students of the library has been reached that there should connect with the world and Turkey universities. It is seen that students think that libraries should be protected in terms of emotions and beliefs in general. Conclusion: In this study, it is concluded that students do not use library much in digital age, social and individual awareness is not enough for libraries, libraries should be integrated and that libraries should be protected in terms of both emotion and belief.
