West Midlands Local Policy Innovation Pilot

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

Coventry University (Centre for Business in Society and Centre for Creative Economies) was part of a 5-month project led by University of Birmingham and with other regional universities to establish a West Midlands Local Policy Innovation Partnership (WM LPIP). This involved connecting local policy and research partners across the West Midlands region to deliver a programme of activity to support policy towards inclusive and sustainable local growth. Activities synthesised research, evidence, data and expertise to take advantage of opportunities and to find place-based solutions to challenges that matter to local people and communities. Winning this Phase period supported a further bid for long-term WM LPIP Phase 2 funding.
