Project Details
Description
Collaborating with Coventry University, Urban Air-Port built the world’s first pop-up urban airport (AirOne) in Coventry, developed through the UKRI Future Flight Challenge fund. The project examined the use of Drones in logistics and strategies for implementing the technology in a hub-and-spoke network. The project was part of the AirOne event where two workshops were delivered to external clients on “Drones in Logistics” and “Designing Smart Cities”. The workshops were hosted by Coventry University at the NTDC and funded by Connected Places Catapult as part of the Future of Air Mobility (FOAM) workshop series.
