The ‘Premium Lightweight Architecture for Carbon Effcient Seating’ (PLACES) initiative is funded by the Technology Strategy Board, and will see Jaguar Land Rover work with the University, Johnson Controls and CL-7 Ltd to initiate a step change in vehicle seat design with a view to reducing mass and improving thermal effciency – both in today’s cars and for
