Project Details

A three year project funded by a Science and Engineering Research Council (pre dates EPSRC) research grant looking broadly at the application of ultrasound on the destruction and pre-treatment of wastes. Two types of waste were targeted, waste oxidants such as out of date bleaching powder and demolition rubble contaminated with heavy metals. The project also addressed issues relating to the water industry.
