Description
Fleet managers in humanitarian and development organisations play a pivotal role in delivering aid to beneficiaries.
Humanitarian fleet managers require a different set of skills than their counterparts in the commercial world. Extent literature suggests that a broad spectrum of functional skills are needed by humanitarian fleet managers.
This research funded by USAID Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance through Fleet Forum is exploring the skills and competencies needed for fleet managers in humanitarian aid setting, thereby providing an understanding of how appropriate fleet manager training can bring organisational cost efficiency, effectiveness, safety, security, and sustainability.
