Description

The benchmarking study will examine the performance of the public sector from 2022 to 2025 in 35 countries: 27 European Union Member States plus United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and United States. The choice was made together with the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (henceforth the Ministry) and was based on cultural similarities of the above mentioned countries. The study will include separate chapters on the following policy areas:
− Public administration,
− Health,
− Environmental protection and Climate change,
− Social Safety,
− Social Security, Employment, Income and Wealth,
− Housing,
− Economy, Infrastructure and Science, Technology and Innovation,
− Education,
− Sports, culture & participation.
− The 10th cluster will cover additional research topic to be selected in mutual agreement and could e.g., cover specific functions like tax departments, social security agencies, cadaster/land registry + mapping, inspection and supervision departments
