Description
The annual pre-doctoral preparatory programme is the collaborative project between the Doctoral College of Coventry University and the Indonesian Directorate for Higher Education, funded by the Ministry for Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia.
This Bridging programme provides the Indonesian PhD candidates with an introduction to doctoral education at Coventry University, academic support to develop their doctoral proposals and prepares them for what they are to expect when undertaking a PhD.

•Supervision: discussing and reviewing proposals, introducing research facilities;
•Individual support for academic writing and proposal development;
•12-week Academic English for research course;
•Suite of pre-doctoral development activities and Research Skills seminars, such as writing a PhD proposal, presentation skills, critical thinking skills, using library academic resources, introduction to research ethics and integrity, introduction to cross-cultural learning;
