Increasing scientific, technological and innovation capacity of Serbia as a widening country in the domain of multiscale modelling and medical informatics in biomedical engineering

    Project: Research

    Project Details

The aim of the SGABU project is to enhance research capacity and capability of Serbia as EU joining country through collaboration with four European leading research institutions - University of Ioannina, Greece; Vienna University of Technology, Austria; Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium and Coventry University, UK. Exchange of know-how research knowledge and experience between University of Kragujavac and the EU partners will be accomplished through scientific meetings, research study visits of staff members to the partner institutions and their labs; summer school, and workshops. The main outcome of the project will be a computational platform for multiscale modelling in biomedical engineering which will be developed and validated in patients with cardiovascular, bone and cancer disease.
Total project value €883,503 - EU Horizon 2020.
