    Project Details

    Description

The University of Hull, In collaboration with partners Lucas Engineering & Systems Ltd (Birmingham, UK), Philips (Netherlands) and CETIM (France), developed a prototype system, based on the patented laser scattering technique for automotive headlamp orientation and spark plug defect recognition, ready for scale-up in the tier 1 automotive sector. This formed part of a 48 month project, commencing in March 1990.
