This research is deploying avatars in teaching and learning to increase student engagement. The researchers survey students as to their experience.

Providing instruction using avatars provides students with an additional context in which to learn, appealing to many different learning strengths.

Key findings

Students have been 100% positive. The success in the classroom has led to opportunities to expand scope of avatars to helping in several departments / areas.
