Project: Research

Project Details

Description

This project used emerging digital technology to facilitate students in the UK designing a new recording studio in Australia.

Key findings

By using digital technology, learners can engage in a scientific design exercise rooted in a different continent. They therefore engage not only with the scientific principles of acoustics, but also, the challenges of a real-world brief which takes on board much of the culture (music and other) of the location.
