Dr Yanguo Jing has a PhD in Computer Science and intelligent Systems, a MSc and a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science. He has over 20 years’ teaching, research and commercial experience, with interests in machine learning and data analytics for business. Yanguo is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, Charter IT professionals and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has worked with clients such as Pfizer, National Grid, and Comic Relief. He was the Managing Director of a very successful software company for over three years and was instrumental in securing the successful bid for the £40M National Institute of Coding (IoC) in the UK, which aims to address digital skills shortages in the industry and to create a pipeline of talents of appropriate digital skills from diverse backgrounds.
